Questioning

Rabbi had a son in law named Bar Elasha. Bar Elasha said to Bar Kappara, “Everyone knows to ask a question except for me.” Bar Kappara advised him to say, “The hawk looks down from the sky, it hovers all around, it frightens all the other birds. They all hide in fright from it. Whoever is caught is caught by his own sin.” Rabbi realized that Bar Kappara had put him up to this and said, “I no longer recognize you, old man.” (Y.  Moed Kattan 3:1)
