Yalta once brought blood before Rabbah bar Hananah and he declared it impure. She brought it again - to Rav Yitshak b’rei d’Rav Yehudah, and he declared it “pure.” How could he do this? There is a braita: When a scholar declares ‘impure,’ his colleague may not declare ‘pure;’ ‘forbidden,’ his colleague may not declare ‘permitted’?!  Rav Yitshak had originally declared it ‘impure,’ and when Yalta told him that all the time Rav Yitshak would declare blood of this color ‘pure,’ but today he suffered an eye illness; then Rav Yitshak declared it ‘pure’ for her.   TB Niddah 20:
